My background and experience
- I have a BA and MA in English.
- I was a writer and communications specialist for the Governor of Hawaii for 2 1/2 years.
- I taught composition, reading, writing, critical thinking, and creative writing at a community college for 5 years.
- I run a cat Instagram and a successful online reselling business.
- I'm currently a professional writer for Hawaii's largest health insurance company.
- Proofreading and editing.
- Freelance writing - Anything you can think of, I can probably write: copy writing, ad writing, blog posts, articles, reviews, emails, ghost writing, press releases, speeches, and more!
- Academic - Essay proofreading and editing. Research papers, citing sources. Tutoring in English reading, writing, and speaking.
- Social media - Consulting, writing engaging Instagram posts, and crafting descriptions of items you're trying to sell (on places like Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Poshmark, Mercari, eBay, and more) so you sell them quickly, hashtag research, photo/video feedback.

Rates (aka How much do you charge??)
- The short and long answer is, it depends! Once I understand what you need and how much time I need, I'll give you an estimate. I'll never surprise you at the end of a project with a crazy fee.
- I accept PayPal and Venmo.
